To Be Frightened or Not? Anxiety Panic Disorder
from:
Plane travels, boat rides, moving into a new home, marriage, having a baby, a new job – all of these and more can be reasons for anxiety.
Anxiety is a condition where a person is uncomfortable with possible future occurrences in their life. It may result in temporary disturbance of peace in their life. Moreover, fear can conquer individuals who are experiencing anxiety.
Panic, on the other hand, is a condition wherein the feeling of fear occurs suddenly. It’s an emotional feeling that is abruptly expressed due to an uncontrollable situation.
If anxiety and panic are to be brought together, one can come up with a condition where an agitated feeling is impulsive and uncalled for. However, if the problem perseveres, it may be a sign of a serious disorder.
Try to evaluate yourself if, for some reason, you’ve developed anxiety panic disorder.
Is your heartbeat as fast as a racing horse? Is breathing difficult? Do you experience bodily shakes as well as tenseness?
If you answer yes to these questions, more than likely you have an anxiety panic disorder. To further assess if one you have this disorder, the following symptoms can be observed.

Many appear to have flashes, often revealing reddish cheeks or face. While others get an abrupt chill, some come across with a prickling sensation in their toes or fingers.
Since anxiety panic disorder is recurrent, people who experience this illness over and over complain of a severe fear of seeing themselves on their deathbed. Some report of having incidence of not being able to control their conduct.
Most people would ask why anxiety panic disorder has come into their lives when life for them is almost like heaven on earth. Some said that the disorder itself is passed on to generations, thus it may be hereditary. While others believed it to be hereditary, various individuals blame it to their environment — when one lives a rather stressful life, it’s more likely they will develop this illness.
Failure to overcome anxiety panic disorder can lead to more serious problems. Hence, it’s best to approach the predicament with awareness and utmost preparation.
First, one can learn the real cause of the illness. Does it really run in the family? Is it psychological? Perhaps, it’s biological. Upon discovering the root cause of the problem, then it’s time to take the next few steps.
It’s best, once you’ve detected the real cause, to consult a specialist — one can go ahead with sessions with a psychologist or psychotherapist. Psychotherapists help to orient people on the nature anxiety panic disorders. They’re the ones who can guide, teach and find the best treatment for people who suffer from the disorder.
Medications can also be used to reduce the pain associated with the attack. Antidepressants are most often prescribed, depending on the patients’ condition.
Another way to combat anxiety panic disorder is for patients to keep a journal. They should continually note down different occurrences in their lives, especially those that can trigger their anxieties. It’s always best to record what they feel as well as steps that they’ve taken to carry out if faced with another attack.
Most important is the support — whether it’s emotional aid, monetary assistance, helping out spiritually — of family and friends of anyone with this disorder is highly recommended. Nothing beats the healing powers of knowing that someone is around to lend a hand.
Whether you’re riding a plane or ship or moving into a new home or work; getting married or having kids soon; or perhaps find yourself in an ungodly, startling situation . . . the key is to never let situations manipulate your life. Deal with the problem with as optimistic an outlook as you can muster.
